Sources: Ninjas In Pyjamas Sign Sayf To Replace Hyp, Fearoth To Be Moved From Starting Line Up

Ninjas in Pyjamas, one of Europe's top VALORANT teams have signed former Bonk player Saif "Sayf" Jibraeel to their roster in a roster shake up as a replacement for duelist/support Damien "Hyp" Souville, while Enzo "Fearoth" Mestari is also out of the starting line up, multiple sources have confirmed to haloofthoughts.

The move comes after Ninjas In Pyjamas consistently finished in the top four durig the European Ignition Series but were unable to push further. Multiple sources confirmed the roster changes were being made to address this.

Sayf impressed during the Ignition Series and according to VLR.GG recorded an Average Combat Score of 239.4, an Average Damage per Round of 162.2, a rating of 0.85 Kills per Round and Average Econ Rating per 1000 credits of 66.6 in 955 professional rounds played. He also played nine different agents during this time and is expected to come in and become Ninjas In Pyjamas In-Game Leader.

Hyp struggled to find the form he had whilst playing on Hyphyphyp and was moved from the Reyna he played earlier in the Ignition Series, to Killjoy in the final events. With Hyp being replaced, Fearoth will join his former Hyphyphyp team mate in leaving, despite finding success when playing Sova. It means that Ninjas In Pyjamas are currently trialing a fifth player.

The moves come as no surprise after haloofthoughts previously shared that roster moves were likely if the team had a bad performance during the BLAST VALORANT Twitch Invitational, which they ultimately did.
