The pair had helped Boston achieve a stage one playoff appearance and a better than expected 7-7 record in the first 2 stages, but league sources have stated that the relationship between the two has deteriorated so much throughout the season, that the team decided to bench them in favour of Ji-Eun "Persia" Yang and Renan "Alemao" Moretto.
Multiple league sources also stated that Boston brought in Korean Flex Support Persia from Talon esport as a replacement for Aimgod, after the team allegedly started to grow tired of the frequency in which Aimgod behaved around the team.
The aim was to integrate Persia into the starting line up and while Persia was getting up to speed with how the team plays, it became clear that Alemao was more suited to partner Perisa at Support than Kellex, as the two struggled to create synergy. As a result, Bostons' coaching staff decided to go with the Alemao and Persia for the first 5 games of stage 3.
Despite the pairs differences, the Uprising's coaching staff decided to reintroduce both players into the starting line up for their game against the Paris Eternal, which the Uprising won and league sources confirmed both Aimgod and Kellex are expected to play in the teams final game of the stage versus the Philadelphia Fusion this week.
While it's uncertain if the two have managed to talk and clear the air, its is vital the the two at least get on the same page if they want to have any chance of making the play-in tournament, that replaces the stage 4 playoffs.
