DOTA 2 giants OG, one of the best and most recognisable organisations in their respective scene, are expected to expand their organisation by entering the European VALORANT Scene, multiple sources have told haloofthoughts.
Multiple sources have stated that OG will be entering VALORANT after coming to terms with the Monkey business roster which consists of Dylan "aKm" Bignet, Dragan" Ellement" Milanović, Theo "Oniby" Tarlier Keven "Tviq" Lindström, Benjamin "Unkoe" Chevasson and coached by Julian "Daemon" Ducros. The roster are expected to be announced by OG after their some what surprise entry to Redbull Home Ground. Redbull are an official partner of OG and are expected to announce the roster signing, which has a number of well known players on it.
Fans of the Overwatch League will know both Dylan "aKm" Bignet and Benjamin "Unkoe" Chevasson for their time on the Dallas Fuel, while Unkoe also played for the Los Angeles Valiant. Also joining them is former Florida Mayhem DPS Kevin "Tviq" Lindström, who played for the team during the 2018 Overwatch League season. The trio previously played on the same Rogue Overwatch roster prior to the Overwatch League started. They will be coached by Julian "daemoN" Ducros, who also coached the Los Angeles Valiant and Dallas Fuel.
While OG are known for their domination of DOTA 2 and are currently the only team to not only win The International twice, but did it back to back. Their signing of a VALORANT roster will mean the organisation are entering their third esport, after signing a CSGO roster back in December 2019.
The arrival of OG will also be a needed boost to the European scene, which has seen organisations take their time building rosters, compared to their American counterparts and with the VALORANT Champions Tour to kick off shortly the is unlikely to be a better time to enter, especially with the expected arrival of Alliance and Vitality to the mix.
