Sources: The Vancouver Titans Are Looking To Trade Main Tank Sang-Beom "Bumper" Park

The Vancouver Titans are looking to trade Main Tank Sang-Beom "Bumper" Park after signing Former Seoul Dynasty Main Tank Chang-Hyung "Fissure" Baek, multiple sources have confirmed to haloofthoughts.

Bumper who joined the Vancouver Titans as part of the RunAway roster that won Season 2 of Contenders Korea in 2018 and was a fundamental part of Vancouver's successful first OWL season in 2019, where they won stage 1, finished 2nd in stage 2 and were runners up to the San Francisco Shock in the Grand Finals, has been deemed surplus to requirements now the team have signed Fissure, sources have told.

Sources have also that the move made by the Titans management was due to the belief that Fissure's deeper hero pool compared to Bumper would be the extra push the Titans needed to win the 2020 season. Sources have also stated that the decision to move on from Bumper has angered the Titans roster.

The Vancouver Titans would be Fissure's fourth Overwatch League team in three seasons after originally joining the league with the London Spitfire, before being traded to the Los Angeles Gladiators during the 2018 season and then later the Seoul Dynasty during the 2019 offseason. Despite retiring halfway through 2019, Fissure was a free agent as the contract that Seoul owned, expired this offseason Meaning that they no longer held the rights to Fissure, allowing him to find a new team.

Fissure will come into 2020 with a point to prove after falling out of favour with the Dynasty after struggling during the GOATS meta and will be keen to prove that he is every bit the player that he was in 2018 when he was the MVP runner up behind New York Excelsior Sung-Hyeon "Jjonak" Bang. While it is unsure at the current time where Bumper will land, you can expect that there will be a lot of competition for one of the best Reinhardt's and a fan favourite of the league.

Haloofthoughts has reached out for comment to the Vancouver Titans and will update further.

Update: The Vancouver Titans declined to comment on the above.
