Element Mystics Head Coach Hee-Won "Rush" Yun & DPS player Yeong-Han "Sp9rk1e" Kim are joining the league together as a package and have multiple offers from Overwatch League teams, multiple sources with knowledge of the situation have confirmed to haloofthoughts.
Sources have stated that Rush and Sp9rk1e have agreed that they will be entering the Overwatch League for the 2020 season together and will only be looking at teams who have offered contracts to both. Sources have also confirmed that the pair have received offers that will allow them to do so and are currently reviewing their opinions.
Rush and Sp9rk1e have been together since 2017 and have had long and successful careers during their time on Element Mystic, winning season one of Contenders Korea 2019, the 2019 Pacific Showdown and the 2019 Guantlet.
During this time Sp9rk1e has become one of the biggest names in all of Contenders and is the most sought after free age this off season due to his standout ability and incredibly deep champion pool.
Rush has been Element Mystic's long time Head Coach and not only shown constant improvement as a coach with the results he's managed, he has done this while also helping 6 of his previous players make it to the Overwatch League.
While the free agency period is getting under way, it will be Interesting to see where the two land together.
