The Guangzhou Charge have traded DPS player Finley "Kyb" Adisi to the Philadelphia Fusion for Main Tank Joona "Fragi" Laine and also traded cash considerations for Los Angeles Gladiators Off Tank Hyung-Seok "Bischu" Kim, sources with knowledge of the trade have told haloofthoughts.
Sources have confirmed the deal was made a few days ago and is expected to be announced with the next 48 hours after the league authorized the trades.
The Charge who are coming off a 4-3 stage 3 have made the moves to sure up at their two Tank positions and going into stage 4, for the teams push at a play in tournament spot. Sources stated that with the 2-2-2 composition lock wanted to have options depending on what way the meta went.
The Fusion's trade for "The Notorious" Kyb, reunites him with Team United Kingdom HC Elliott "Hayes" Hayes and gives the Fusion an incredible amount of flexibility the DPS position and one of the better Roadhog players in the league. The Charge picking up Fragi brings to an end a difficult time with the Fusion, after he lost his starting position to Su-Min "Sado" Kim when he became eligible to play after a 30 game ban last season. Fragi was also rumoured to have been benched at the request of star DPS player Jae-Hyeok "Carpe" Lee.
Bischu leaves the Gladiators after splitting time with fellow Off Tank Jun-Woo "Void" Kim during season one. Bischu has struggled through the league's second season due to health issues but arrives at the Charge with the ability to shot call and translate from English/Korean. The arrival of Bischu for cash considerations means that the Gladiators lose a fan favourite.
With the trade going through shortly, all three players will be eligible for the seasons fourth and final stage.
