Aces High - An Interview with London Spitfire Head Coach Beoum-Jun "Bishop" Lee

(Taken from Bishop's Twitter)

After a year of hard graft and preparation, the Overwatch League is set to go for its inaugural season. Twelve teams are locked in to represent countries from across the world with the pre-season matches taken place last weekend. The Overwatch League is set to start January 10th with much anticipation surrounding it. I’ll be doing a series looking into the team who will be representing the United Kingdom and Europe, London Spitfire.

What To Expect When Your Baby Arrives

When I originally published my What To Expect When Your Partners Expecting post, I intended for it to be a one off. It was meant to be a funny post on serious problems or sayings that Alice and I had before we became parents. As the post was fairly successful and there have been more occurrences since Joshua arrived. I feel like I’m going to turn this into a series as Joshua grows up.

My Shaving Essentials

When it comes to looking after yourself and grooming, it’s important to have two things. A good set of products that you can trust to do a solid job and  having routine that you keep up with on a regular basis. This is because when you are shaving it’s not just about the razor and shave cream you use, it’s also about the pre and post skincare products you may (or may not) use. I’m sharing my go to products at the current time.

They go through so many changes during those nine months of baby growing that sometimes things are just a little bit too much to deal with and the tears come. Due to these little things called hormones, Alice has moments where she's become upset over the last few months when she normally wouldn't so today I'm going to share my list I've been keeping with you.

As Content Creators We Need To Be Responsible

Whether your content is as a Blogger, Youtuber or an Instagrammer, we all come under the same umbrella as content creators. We as content creators get some amazing opportunities to work with some great and well known brands in our fields of choice and some of us get the chance to be a part of huge campaigns that we wouldn't have had the chance to take part in if we weren't content creators. Each of these opportunities provides our content channels a way of expanding and getting more exposure to new people. Which is why today I want to talk about why as content creators, we need to be more responsible.

FIFA 18 - Galaticos & El Tornados

You've played a long, hard and mentally gruelling match. The score is currently 2-2 in the 88th minute, your defending hard after a sustained amount of pressure from your opponent when the opportunity to counter arises. You get the ball and run down the flank with Roberto Carlos and see that Cristiano Ronaldo has made a run but has a defender has hung with him. You decide a through ball over the top is the best course of action so you hit and hope. Ronaldo is 25 yards out when he turns, controls the ball first time and knocks the ball up into the air. Then in one swift, fluid motion he turns 180 degrees on a sixpence and smashes the ball into the top right hand corner for the win. This is FIFA 18 and it produces moments like this as if you were watching a real game regularly.

The Rise of The Grimestar

When it comes to Grime, I've been listening to it since the days of Dizzie Rascals Boy In The Corner and Wiley's Treddin' On Thin Ice, when the Grime scene first started to make it's way. I've seen this peaks such as the emergence of Stormzy, the calm before the storm when Roll Deep went more Pop. The creation of the Super group Boy Better Know and the return of the grime scene Champion Skepta last year.

Building The Snuzpod

When you're expecting a child there's a lot of preparation to be done before they arrive, part of this preparation is finding your inner Nick Knowles and doing a lot of DIY. The cot is one of the most important pieces to create because otherwise where will your little one sleep? So with this in mind, I'm going to share how I fared when it came to creating Baby Spake's Snuzpod.

World War 2. The private beta for CoD: WW2 finally dropped on Xbox One this weekend, so I've been able to have a little pay around!

1 Year of Blogging

Today's a little bit of a special day for me, as 1 year ago I started my little blog as a hobby. Originally it was there to see me through the days where I couldn't actually game, or I had something I felt like I needed to share. Yet from blogging over the last year, there is in fact quite a bit that I've experienced and today I'm going to share this with you.

It's Not Right But I've Grown Accustomed To Racism

This is actually a post I was hoping that I'd never have to write, but after being on the receiving end of racial abuse on Friday just gone I had to get my feelings into words. I really feel like it's time I voiced my personal experience on racism and how it's now at the point that I've actually grown to expect it as each horrific event highlights more underlying racial tension. My posts aren't often ranting ones but I feel that this subject is a special circumstance.

Why We Don't Need Male Specific Awards

It's early May which means that we're half way through Spring, almost half way through the year and we're into the blogging season that gets everyone excited, awards season! It's the season where we see the dates being announced for entries, nominations and then the awards themselves. It's also the time of year that always brings up the question within the male blogger community, should there be specific male blogger genres or awards. Today I'm going to explain my reasons as to why I don't feel there should be.
